The canteen operates a cashless till system which has proven to be highly popular with students, staff and parents. Currently, students are provided with a lunchcard, which can be preloaded with credit by parents / carers. For students receiving Free School Meals, their lunch card updates daily with their allowance. We moved to a biometric system in September 2023, this allows all students to purchase their food using their thumbprint only.

Students are requested to bring a full water bottle to school every day: fizzy drinks and energy drinks are not allowed. All students sit to eat in the main hall or the canteen. Students should not take food out of these areas.

Please go to our Free School Meals page for further information regarding qualifying benefits and how to claim.
